Fluid filtration is crucial in hydraulic systems used in power generation.<\/h2>\n

Turbines are the workhorses of power generation, and their optimal performance is crucial for overall plant efficiency. Filtration systems safeguard turbine operation by removing debris, lubricating oil contaminants, and preventing the ingress of harmful particles. Clean and properly filtered lubricating oil reduces friction, minimizes wear on turbine components, and extends the life of these vital assets.<\/p>\n

Our industrial fluid filtration products improve lubrication and hydraulic fluid quality to optimize hydroelectric power plant performance and maximize productive uptime.\u00a0 We offer filter housings, replacement elements, monitoring and turnkey systems for any size of application, from small flows and simple installations to large flows and complex systems.<\/p>\n

Because of their proximity to water, hydroelectric turbine lube oils often have unacceptably high water content. Water contamination in oil promotes corrosion and fluid system component wear, resulting in reduced component life and increased maintenance costs. It also degrades fluid properties, leading to reduced lubricity and load carrying ability, oil oxidation and the resultant formation of acids, and additive precipitation. The consequences are reduced fluid service life and increased fluid procurement and disposal costs.\u00a0 Our oil purification solutions remove 100% of free water 80% of dissolved water, they also remove 100% of free and entrained gases and up to 80% of dissolved gases.<\/p>\n

However, water can play a vital role in power generation systems, from cooling towers to steam generators.
