There are several types of hydraulic filters, including suction filters, pressure filters, return filters and offline or bypass filters. Suction filters are placed in the reservoir’s suction line to purify the fluid before it enters the pump. Pressure filters are located in the pressure line and clean the fluid before it reaches the hydraulic actuator. Return filters cleanse the fluid as it returns to the reservoir, while offline filters continuously filter a portion of the fluid irrespective of the system’s operation.<\/p>\n
